On-Location Couple Maternity Photoshoot in the Dublin Mountains
On-location outdoor sessions for expecting couples are getting more and more popular in Ireland.
This couple picked a location that was meaningful to them to capture some relaxed and beautiful portraits of this special time in their lives.
Maternity photos are so much more than “just“ photographs of the bump. They capture the “before”, whatever this means (and it means something different for every couple).
Their life is about to change, baby is already taking a lot of space in their mind, and it is easy to forget about each other a little.
During our time together, this couple was able to pause. Walk. Chat. Breath. Simply be in the present moment. Together. As a couple, and as expecting parents.
I focused on their love for each other and their love for their future baby, and the amazing Irish landscape too :)
“What to Wear“ during a maternity photoshoot
Couples often ask me this question and I send them the link to this maternity session as an example of two different outfits that worked very well in front of the green and dark Irish landscape of the Dublin Mountains.
You could really wear anything you like, but I always recommend a few things:
No matching! Coordinate if you feel like it, but avoid wearing the same colours.
Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.
Avoid brands/logos and crazy patterns.
Whether you bring 1 or 2 outfits is totally up to you :)
